2010 Registration begins: April 5, 2010
Registration Fee: A $50 non-refundable registration fee is due at sign-up.
Weekly Fee Due Every Monday:
Members - $90
Non-members - $110
Fee Includes:
Breakfast, lunch and provided snack.
Daily swim time and weekly swim lessons.
Ages:
Entering-1st Grade through Entering-6th Grade
Session Dates: Tentatively June 7th – August 7th
(these dates are subject to change along with the Clark County School System last day of school in June 2010 and first day of school in August 2010)
Camp Hours: 7:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Program Description: The Winchester YMCA has created a wonderful summer day camp program that you and your child will love!
Activities revolve around weekly themes that are incorporated into crafts and games throughout the day. We would love for your child to join us!
In a typical day, campers arrive and enjoy free time, eat breakfast and visit with friends. Weather permitting, campers are given swim time each morning. After lunch, our schedule is packed with traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, reading activities and board games, as well as group games.

Enjoy working with children? Do you like to plan fun activities and crafts? Then this might be the job for you! The Summer Day Camp is now accepting applications at the YMCA Fitness Center. Please stop by and fill one out!
Volunteer Opportunity
Have a special gift, talent, or hobby that you would like to share with campers this summer? If you would like to work with our program this summer, we would love to have you!
Do you enjoy planting a garden, flying model planes, playing music, dancing or just playing a new game or sport? How about reading a book to a group of children or creating a new craft? Then call the YMCA at 744-9622 and ask to speak with the Child Care Office.
Community Involvement
Are you part of an organization in Winchester that has something to share with the Day Camp Program? In past years, we have had visits from the fire and police departments, as well as a biweekly visit from the Bookmobile. Please contact the YMCA Day Camp if you are interested in becoming involved!
